Hello! I'm Emma, the artist behind Black and Birdy. The name of my brand is inspired by my deep appreciation for nature and birds, as well as my own ethnicity. It's worth noting that Black Birders Week and similar events have recently played a crucial role in raising awareness about Black naturalists. While I came up with the name Black and Birdy before the growing awareness of Black people in nature, I'm thrilled to witness its decreasing novelty.

Nature has always been a boundless source of inspiration for me, constantly evoking a sense of wonder. I firmly believe that wonder has the power to expand our perspective, making the world feel less confined and more filled with possibilities. My ultimate dream is to share this sense of wonder with others through my art, allowing the peace and joy I experience in nature to resonate with my customers as well.

My hope is that when you hold one of my creations in your hands, you'll feel a connection to the natural world and experience a sense of tranquility and delight. Through my art, I aim to foster a deep appreciation for nature's wonders and remind us all of the importance of preserving and cherishing our environment.
